Made by: Mas Lasta - Anne Laure Sicard

Grape varieties: Grenache noire

Appellation: Vin de France

Location: Terrasse du Larzac, Languedoc, France

SO2: Low sulfites

Certification: Organic and natural

Tasting notes: Having only black grapes in her vines, she vinifies in "blanc de noirs" the black Grenache that she also uses for her Mouton noir cuvée. There is no disgorging. The bottle must therefore be kept vertical for a few hours before consuming it.

It is a fresh and crisp Pet Nat with pleasant notes of peach, bramble fruits and yellow flower. Lovely bubbles and acidity.

About the producer:

Anne Laure Sicard completed her first harvest in 2016, but she's far from a novice. After earning her degree in oenology in Montpellier, she gained experience at Château Latour and traveled the world as a winemaker, working in Spain, Australia, Canada, Uruguay, and Argentina. Upon returning to Languedoc, she took over 9 hectares of vineyards situated at 450 meters above sea level, on the northern edge of Terrasses du Larzac. This inspired the name of her domaine, Mas Lasta, means in Occitan "the last vines."

Total surface of the domain: 9ha
