Tasting notes: On the nose, it shows beautiful notes of black fruits, coffee grounds and white pepper. To the palate, intense blackcurrants and plum flavours are followed by beautiful hints of Mediterranean herbs and warm spice. Gentle tannins, and mineral finish; complex and elegant.
 
About the producer:
Anne Laure Sicard completed her first harvest in 2016, but she's far from a novice. After earning her degree in oenology in Montpellier, she gained experience at Château Latour and traveled the world as a winemaker, working in Spain, Australia, Canada, Uruguay, and Argentina. Upon returning to Languedoc, she took over 9 hectares of vineyards situated at 450 meters above sea level, on the northern edge of Terrasses du Larzac. This inspired the name of her domaine, Mas Lasta, means in Occitan "the last vines."
