Made by: Karina and Guillaume Lefèvre, Domaine de Sulauze
Grape varieties: Sciaccarello.
Location: Provence, France.
Viticulture: Biodynamic, Natural, Low sulfites
Tasting notes:
This wine bursts with energy. Its fruty, earthy with hints at iron and rich soil, mingled with plum and currant undertones. On the palate, it delivers a similarly experience, with a voluptuous texture.
Pair it with roast white meats, meaty fish, pizza, or just for peritif
About the producer:
Karina and Guillaume Lefèvre met hiking across the island of Corsica a love at first sight! In 2004 they took over a vineyard located in the small vilage of Miramas. They initially converted the vineyards to organic farming and later embraced biodynamic practices, transforming Domaine de Sulauze into a multifaceted operation encompassing a winery, brewery, and polycultural farm. They revitalised the vineyard with vine cuttings from massale selection, grafting them onto their rootstock. This has led to the production of single-parcel bottlings, including Vermentino and Sciacarello from the well know Antoine Abatucci’s vines.
